Mr. Moonis Hussain Hashmi is a mathematician from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Upon completing his education in 2008, Moonis joined the supply chain function at Unilever Pakistan Limited. In his 5 years at Unilever, Moonis looked after transportation, cold chain management, ambient logistics and supply planning. In 2013, Moonis left Unilever to establish J&M Consultant, a consultancy firm looking to provide supply chain solutions to the growing local businesses in Pakistan. In 2014, J&M Consultants was acquired by Connect Logistics. Moonis was taken on-board as Director for Business Development and Systems. During his tenure, Connect Logistics has grown by over 300% by expanding its warehousing operations and integration of the transportation and value addition into the business. Moonis has ambitious growth plans for the business. He plans on establishing 100,000 pallet position through self-owned Mega Warehouses all across Pakistan with a targeted investment of over 3.5 Billion Rupees.
Ms. Javeria Khan has completed her MSc in Microbiology and MBA in Marketing. Her professional qualifications include Lead course on Quality (9001), Food Safety (22000), Environment (14001) and Health and Safety (OHSAH 18001). She is also well versed in Social Accountability, HACCP, Global GAP, SQF, Halal, and BRC standards. Javeria has over 14 years of industry experience with exposure of nearly 15 industrial sectors. She started her career with Unilever Pakistan Limited in 2002 as Junior Manager Quality Assurance. She then worked at Engro foods un Supply Chain. Throughout her career, Javeria’s core area of expertise has remained the development, implementation, sustenance, and improvement of international standards compliance of legal regulatory requirements and training. Javeria leads QSHE as the Group Compliance Manager. She manages all certification-related activities at a Group level, while simultaneously being a proud mother.
Mr. Nasir Mehmood holds a Master degree in Business Studies and is a Supply Chain Professional with over 12 years of rick experience. He has supply chain operations management experience ranging from military to commercial logistics in ambient and temperature-controlled environments. Nasir started his career with Agility Logistics Kuwait in 2004, in the Quality Assurance department. In 2007, Nasir joined Glaciers in 2011 and was involved in all key projects executed by the business, including management of the back-of-factory operation for Wall’s Ice Cream. Nasir currently leads at operation related activities for Connect and Glaciers in the North and Center regions of Pakistan, dealing with more than 20 customers and managing a stored inventory worth approximately 25 Million USD.
Mr. Abdul Rehman holds a bachelors degree in Technology. He has over 23 years of experience in the Industry. Rehman started his career n 1996 with Karam Ceramics as the Electrical-In-Charge. He then spent several years in the textile sector in Pakistan and Oman. In 2006 Rehman joined Glaciers as General Manager. He was the project lead for construction of Glaciers in 2007 and all subsequent expansions, such as electrical, electronics, maintenance, mechanical, refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC systems, engineering, administration, HR, production and operations. He presently leads all manufacturing and technical areas of Monsalwa and is the coordinator for all projects initiated by the group.
